Terms and Conditions of Unity Pay

[ABOUT UNITY PAY & THESE TERMS]
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of UnityPay and payments made through UnityPay for Unity Academy memberships, including VIP access to the Unity Academy Discord community.
UnityPay is the cryptocurrency payment system operated by Unity Academy. It generates payment instructions, monitors blockchain confirmations and verifies whether payment has been received.
UnityPay is not a cryptocurrency exchange, wallet provider, bank, investment platform or financial adviser.
By completing a payment through UnityPay, you confirm that you have read and agreed to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not complete the payment.
[CRYPTOCURRENCY PAYMENTS, PRICES & CONFIRMATIONS]
Before making a payment, you are responsible for checking:

The required cryptocurrency;
The correct blockchain network;
The payment amount;
The receiving wallet address; and
Any applicable blockchain, wallet, exchange or network fees.
You must send only the supported cryptocurrency using the network displayed at checkout.
Payments made using an incorrect cryptocurrency, blockchain network or wallet address may be permanently lost and may not be recoverable by Unity Academy.
Where the membership price is displayed in pounds sterling or another traditional currency, UnityPay may calculate the required cryptocurrency amount using the exchange rate available when the payment request is created.
Because cryptocurrency values can change rapidly, a payment request may expire or need to be recalculated. You must send the full amount before the payment request expires. Underpayments, overpayments and late payments may require manual review.
A payment is not complete until UnityPay has detected the transaction and it has received the required blockchain confirmations.
Unity Academy is not responsible for delays caused by blockchain congestion, exchanges, wallet providers, validators or other circumstances outside its reasonable control.
Unity Academy is not responsible for changes in cryptocurrency value before or after payment.
[MEMBERSHIP ACCESS AND RENEWAL]
Unity Academy membership or VIP Discord access will normally be activated after payment has been successfully verified.
You may be required to provide information needed to connect the payment with your Unity Academy or Discord account.
Membership access is personal to the purchaser and must not be:

Shared, resold or transferred;
Used to provide unauthorised access to another person;
Used to copy or redistribute signals, educational materials or other Unity Academy content; or
Used commercially without Unity Academy’s written permission.
Purchasing membership gives you a limited, personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to access the relevant services for the membership period shown at checkout.
Cryptocurrency payments do not automatically renew unless the checkout clearly states that a recurring arrangement applies and you expressly agree to it.
Where manual renewal is required, access may end unless a further payment is completed before the membership expires.
[CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS]
Consumers may have statutory cancellation rights depending on their location and whether the membership consists of digital content, services or both.
Where you request immediate access during a statutory cancellation period, you may be required to:

Expressly request that access begins immediately; and
Acknowledge that beginning the supply of digital content may affect or end your cancellation right once supply begins.
Where an ongoing service begins during the cancellation period at your request, Unity Academy may charge a reasonable amount for the service supplied before cancellation where permitted by law.
Nothing in these Terms limits a cancellation, refund or other consumer right that cannot legally be excluded.
Due to the immediate and digital nature of membership access, payments are generally non-refundable once access has been activated, except where:

A refund is required by law;
Unity Academy cannot provide the access purchased;
A duplicate payment has been verified;
Unity Academy agrees to refund an incorrect payment; or
Unity Academy approves a refund at its discretion.
Approved cryptocurrency refunds will normally be based on the original purchase price shown at checkout, rather than any later change in the cryptocurrency’s market value.
Unity Academy may deduct unavoidable blockchain or network fees from a discretionary refund where legally permitted and where the refund is not required because of Unity Academy’s breach.
Refunds will only be sent to a wallet reasonably verified as belonging to or controlled by the original payer.

Leaving the Discord server, closing your Discord account or ceasing to use the membership does not by itself constitute a cancellation request.
[EDUCATIONAL SERVICE & TRADING RISK]
Unity Academy provides general educational content, market information, trading commentary, community access and related tools.
Unity Academy content does not constitute personalised financial, investment, legal or tax advice and must not be treated as a personal recommendation to enter into a transaction.
Cryptocurrency, securities, derivatives and other forms of trading involve substantial risk. You may lose some or all of the money you trade or invest.
Past performance, testimonials, previous trades, signals, examples and historical results do not guarantee future performance.
Unity Academy does not guarantee:

Profits or investment returns;
That a trade, signal, strategy or methodology will succeed;
That every item of information will be complete or error-free;
That the service is suitable for your personal circumstances; or
That trading losses will be avoided.
You remain responsible for your trading decisions, position sizing, risk management, wallet security and compliance with applicable laws and tax requirements.
You should obtain independent professional advice where necessary.
[ACCEPTABLE USE, INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY & TERMINATION]
You must not use UnityPay or Unity Academy access to:

Commit or facilitate fraud, money laundering or unlawful activity;
Make payments using stolen, compromised or unauthorised cryptocurrency;
Interfere with UnityPay, its wallets, systems or security;
Circumvent membership or access restrictions;
Share, resell, copy or redistribute Unity Academy content;
Solicit members for funding, account management or unauthorised services;
Harass, threaten or abuse other members; or
Misrepresent your identity, payment or membership status.
Additional Discord and community rules may apply.
All Unity Academy branding, educational materials, trade commentary, signals, graphics, videos, livestreams, software, dashboards, indicators and community resources remain the property of Unity Academy or the relevant rights holder.
Purchasing membership does not transfer ownership of that intellectual property. You must not record, reproduce, publish, distribute, sell, license or commercially exploit Unity Academy content without written permission.
Unity Academy may suspend or terminate access where it reasonably believes that:

These Terms have been materially or repeatedly breached;
A payment is fraudulent, reversed, disputed or unauthorised;
Membership access has been shared or resold;
Protected content has been copied or redistributed;
Action is required to prevent unlawful activity or a security threat; or
The Unity Academy community rules have been seriously breached.
Where reasonably practical, Unity Academy will explain the reason and provide an opportunity to resolve the issue. Immediate action may be taken where necessary to prevent fraud, unlawful activity, security threats or intellectual-property infringement.
[AVAILABILITY & THIRD-PARTY SERVICES]
Unity Academy aims to provide reliable access but does not guarantee that UnityPay, Discord or other Unity Academy services will always be uninterrupted or free from technical issues.
Access may be temporarily restricted because of maintenance, security work, technical faults, blockchain disruption, Discord outages, legal requirements or circumstances outside Unity Academy’s reasonable control.
UnityPay depends on third-party blockchains, wallets, exchanges, hosting providers, APIs and Discord. These providers operate under their own terms and policies.
Unity Academy is not responsible for the operation, availability or security of independent third-party services except where responsibility cannot legally be excluded.
[LIABILITY & CONSUMER RIGHTS]
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for:

Death or personal injury caused by negligence;
Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
A statutory consumer right that cannot be excluded; or
Any other liability that cannot legally be limited.
Unity Academy will provide its services with reasonable care and skill. Where digital content is supplied, your applicable statutory rights remain unaffected.
Unity Academy is not responsible for:

Trading or investment losses;
Changes in cryptocurrency value;
Lost private keys or recovery phrases;
Compromised personal wallets or devices;
Incorrect blockchain transactions;
Decisions made using Unity Academy content;
Losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed; or
Failures caused by independent blockchains, wallets, exchanges, Discord or other circumstances outside Unity Academy’s reasonable control.
Where the membership was purchased primarily for personal use, Unity Academy is not responsible for business losses, loss of profit, loss of revenue or loss of commercial opportunity.
Unity Academy remains responsible for foreseeable loss or damage caused by its breach of these Terms or failure to use reasonable care and skill.
[PRIVACY]
Unity Academy processes payment-related personal information in accordance with the UnityPay Privacy Policy.
Cryptocurrency transactions may be recorded on public blockchains. Blockchain information may be publicly accessible and difficult or impossible to alter or delete.
[CHANGES TO THESE TERMS]
Unity Academy may update these Terms to reflect changes to its services, payment methods, security requirements, applicable law or business operations.
The updated version will display a revised “Last updated” date.
Material changes will not normally apply retrospectively to a membership period already purchased. Reasonable notice will be provided where a material change affects an active membership and it is practical to do so.
Continued use of UnityPay or renewal after updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
[GOVERNING LAW & CONTACT INFORMATION]
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Consumers may also benefit from mandatory protections available under the laws of their country of residence. The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, except where consumer law permits proceedings to be brought elsewhere.
